Cherry on Top

What can I say?  Who doesn't love a good cupcake! I painted Cherry on Top with lots of light but lots of color! In fact, this was really an exercise in color...To me it is a perfect time since the icing was a buttercream. I have always loved to mix papers for pattern and extra design. Sometimes it is more subtle, but this time I actually incorporated this fun floral into a wallpaper.  I've also added little bits in the folds of the icing to bring unity. This little gem is 10x10" and painted white on the sides to modernize it and give it a crisp feeling. She comes wired on back and ready to hang in that spot that just needed a little bit of something yummy!
