About the Artist

"I have loved art since I was a child. My degree is in art education; which is probably why I still love to teach workshops and classes when the opportunity arises.  I taught art on the middle school and high school level until I was ready to move to what I do now; which is create art, always trying new things and growing as an artist.  There is a special reason behind each of my paintings and I often have a story and a symbolism for the subjects I paint. Winning awards is fun, and I've done that, but the MOST fun and my reward is getting in my studio with my tools and enjoying the process!  Art truly is my escape and my joy!  I invite you to visit my world from time to time, and hopefully find a smile or two before you leave.
