Sunflowers and Alabaster

Sunflowers reflect loyalty and resilience to me. I am fascinated at how they follow the sun in nature. That's the loyalty!  I've always been attracted to their beautiful sunshine in a bottle characteristics, so I'm moved to paint them often. It makes me happy! Recently I taught a floral arranging class and this was my example. I have the arrangement on my table and I loved it so much I painted it. The alabaster colored vase I set them in was so striking to me that it deserved a place in her name.

Sunflowers and Alabaster is for the person who appreciates the loyal nature of things and understands just what it means; and for the person who loves the happy feeling you get when you see these resilient flowers with all their glorious sunshiny color! She comes framed with wire on back for hanging.
