Impossible Garden

Impossible Garden is part of my rebellion I suppose. Since I can remember if someone told me something was impossible it became a mission to see if I could do it anyway. I find it amusing that it follows me into my painting. It is true that Tulips and Sunflowers do not live in a garden at the same time, but if we as artists want it to we can make it happen. 

I happen to love the two flowers so why not! Try as I might I have not been able to sharpen this particular photo. I have taken countless photos and have had the technical support help and this is the best I can do. The photo shows up clear on social media, so I admit I'm stumped. I'm not saying it is IMPOSSIBLE, but for this moment I must concede just to add it to my website. If you are interested and want to see a more clear version I'd gladly send it to you via another method and we can see!

I love this little Impossible Garden for her colors next to each other, for the contrast in strength of the sunflower next to the softer, more fragile tulips; the sky peeking in between all their blooms and stems.

This painting is for those like me who refuse to accept it when someone says "that's impossible"!
